SCHOOL TURNAROUND SPECIALIST

The School Turnaround Specialist (STS) is a full-time position based out of New York City. The goal of the STS is to procure contracts with schools who are in need of a full school turnaround model using our Project CHILD model.

Primary Goals Procure contracts for Project CHILD

2. Become an expert in funding streams.
3. Set and conduct meetings with decision-makers.
4. Build school relationships at the local and district level.

Job Description:
The School Turnaround Specialist will be responsible for marketing and selling Project CHILD to schools in the Northeast, including but not limited to NY, NJ, CT, PA, and VA.
 Selling skills: Ability to meet annual sales goals
 Strong clientele/customer development skills
 Submit daily report to Director of School Partnerships
 Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with schools
 Perform follow-up communication via in-person meetings, e-mail, and phone calls
 Ability to learn and effectively convey product knowledge of all Innovative Educational Programs and Learning Alliances courses
 Knowledge of or open to learning about educational policies and budgets
Job Requirements
 5+ years in the education field
 Daily local travel to schools is mandatory
 Punctuality is essential
 Demonstrated ability to communicate with customers, co-workers, and business contacts in a courteous and professional manner
 Dress in a professional manner
 Entrepreneurial; self-starter; ability to work with little supervision

We have a dynamic opportunity for an After-care worker who will be responsible for supervising pre-school children at the school after completion of regular school hours. Must have a warm and friendly personality, be sensitive to the feelings and needs of others, be able to relate well to children, and be willing to fulfill responsibilities in accordance with the School’s program and philosophy.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• Monitors the classroom and playground area at all times.
• Helps with the general housekeeping tasks.
• Helps to maintain a neat and organized classroom.
• Assist with any pre-school level homework and school assignments
• Engages students in age-appropriate fun filled games and activities
• Supervises all activities to ensure safety at all times
• Completes appropriate documentation when illness or injuries occur.
• Reports to the Director or Director’s representative any problem which may occur with the children, staff or parents.

• Ensures dismissal procedures are followed especially that each child leaves with the appropriate adult as indicated on Child Release Form
